Ukraine’s History: The Triumphs, Trials and Tribulations

Chapter 5, titled "Ukraine 1914-1945," resonated with me, especially the section discussing the Holodomor. This event, recognized as a genocide, occurred between 1932 and 1933 and resulted in a devastating famine that led to the deaths of millions of Ukrainians. This book is highly recommended for anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Ukraine's historical context in Eastern European history.
